President's Letter

Thank you for visiting our website to learn about the Allied Arts Guild Auxiliary.

The Allied Arts Guild Auxiliary is one of seven auxiliaries that supports the Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford. We are a group of women and men who own and manage the Allied Arts Guild, a fabulous place in Menlo Park where we have reopened after renovations which have returned the property to its former glory. We have eleven unique shops and boutiques, lush gardens, a state-of-the-art conference center, a café, and the facilities for weddings, luncheons, bridal and baby showers, birthday parties, company meetings, retreats, memorial services, and more.

The Auxiliary is composed of a group of women and men who are committed and passionate about what they do, and who give countless hours to help support the health and well-being of children, especially those without health care or with inadequate health care. All of the proceeds from the Guild go to the Packard Hospital which serves both those with and without health insurance and both those who are momentarily ill and those with chronic and catastrophic illnesses. In the process we also help to maintain the Allied Arts Guild, an historic landmark in Menlo Park, and to promote the arts in our community. I am proud to be their president this year.

Please join us as a guest, a new member, or a community friend by following the links on this website.

This year our annual fundraiser will be on October 13 at The University Club in Palo Alto. Join us at this fabulous but casual event which will include a delicious dinner with wonderful wines, an auction of delightful items, dancing, and an evening of Texas Hold’em poker with ample prizes. Please remember that a portion of every ticket you purchase or every event you book at Allied Arts Guild goes directly to the Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital.

I am looking forward to a wonderful year as the 2012 President of the Allied Arts Guild Auxiliary.

Vicki Kojola,
AAGA President
